The Fourth PEMA Symposium

Held under the Royal Stewardship of Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen, the annual PEMA Symposium is Bhutan's national platform for mental health. It brings together government leaders, international experts, civil society, and people with lived experience to share evidence and shape the country's mental health agenda.

From 8–10 October, I had the privilege of serving on the media team for The PEMA Secretariat during the Fourth PEMA Symposium on Mental Health in Thimphu.

On the final day, Her Majesty The Gyaltsuen graced the closing ceremony. Being present and documenting that moment is something I'll remember for a long time. It was a reminder of the vision and heart behind this work.
